Hotel deals in Cancun
There are no fixed “deals” to list, because rates change daily and we don't show prices. Here is how to look for savings in Cancun, and where to compare.
When to look in Cancun
Usually good to visit: December to April, the drier and cooler months; hurricane season runs roughly June to November. Often quieter, with lower demand: September to October. Moving your dates by a few days, or staying mid-week, can change what's on offer.
Where to compare
Rates can differ a lot between areas. Popular choices:
- Hotel Zone: Narrow strip between lagoon and sea lined with beaches and resorts
- Downtown: Local city centre with markets, restaurants and bus links
- Playa Mujeres: Northern resort area with a marina, golf and calmer beaches
Checklist before you book
- Compare at least two or three sites for the same dates and guests.
- Check what the total includes: taxes, city fees and breakfast.
- Look at the cancellation terms. A flexible rate can be worth a little more.
- Try nearby dates and a neighbouring area.
- Read recent guest reviews on the booking site itself.
